Eminem to release new material in 2013
Paul Rosenborg, head of Slim Shady Records, explained to Billboard that the rapper is in full flow creating his eighth studio album, which will be out at some point after Memorial Day, a holiday in the US that takes place on the final Monday of May.
Eminem has already been announced as one of the main stage headliners for this year's Reading and Leeds Festival, and will also play alongside the likes of Biffy Clyro, System Of A Down and Deftones.
He will also touch down on Irish and Scottish shores in the run-up to the major festival with plans already in place for two huge shows at Slane Castle, County Meath, on August 17th and then at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on August 20th.
The release of his eighth studio album will represent the follow-up to 2010's full-length LP Recovery and will be released through his own record label.
