Enter Shikari set to start on new album in 2013
It will be the fourth studio record from the St Albans quartet following the launch of their third album, A Flash Flood Of Colour, which was released earlier this year and received critical acclaim.
The band's bass player Chris Bassen explained to Gigwise that while the group will be in the studio in the coming months there will not be any material being released as they formulate ideas for their new album.
Bassen added: "The first half of the year will be spent finishing up the tour. Half a year's quite a lot touring really. And then for us it takes us about 18 months to do a solid album really because we're lucky enough to go to a lot of places really, so it does take us a fair while."
Enter Shikari are currently in the middle of a major tour across the UK with support from Cancer Bats. The tour concludes at Norwich's UEA tomorrow night (December 20th).
