Epiphone launches limited edition Tommy Thayer Les Paul
The instrument honours legendary Kiss guitarist Tommy Thayer as the company revealed the first images of the Limited Edition Tommy Thayer "Spaceman" Les Paul Standard Outfit.
Epiphone has said that the guitar replicates the personality of the man himself, being one-of-a-kind, and with that in mind only 1,000 of these prized axes will come off the company's production line.
Budding musicians and members of the Kiss Army will be keen to get their hands on the new model and will be able to benefit from a 1960s SlimTaper "D" profile mahogany neck with a deep-set glued-in neck.
It also comes with the famous Gibson 498T™ Humbuckers with a covered 498T™ in the neck position and those that pick up this guitar will receive a unique "Spaceman" case and certificate of authenticity.
Tommy Thayer has become a staple of Kiss since he joined in 2002 and has gone on to record five albums with iconic glam rock band.
