Ex-Razorlight drummer announces first solo gig
Andy Burrows, who used to play the drum kit for Razorlight, has announced details of his first solo show since leaving the group.
He will play The Luminaire in London on March 3rd 2010 ahead of the release of his new album.
Burrows told NME that he has been working on how to translate his new songs to a live arena for the past few weeks with the help of his backing band.
"So far it's coming together well," he stated.
Burrows may be the frontman in this project, but he has also recently announced that he will be getting back behind the drum kit with We Are Scientists.
He drummed on the duo's third album and will be rejoining the group for their performance at the NME Awards later this month.
While Burrows was in Razorlight, the band recorded hits such as Somewhere Else, Up All Night and Rip It Up.Posted on 11 Feb 2010 19:00 to category : Music News
