Fender Stratocaster signed by Bruno Mars up for sale
The instrument was signed by Mars when he appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show to perform his smash-hit single Just The Way You Are, reports the official Fender blog, FrontRow.
As a result, the classic series '50s Fender Stratocaster is to be sold in order to raise funds for the Fender Music Foundation (FMF), which works to provide funding and resources for various musical programmes.
The electric guitar is up for grabs for $1,650 (£1,067) and comes with a gig bag, as well as two photos of the signing taking place.
Mars is far from the only artist to contribute to the FMF scheme, with other musical instruments being autographed for the charity by the likes of Eric Clapton and Duff McKagan.
Meanwhile, Janie Hendrix has passed on a Psychedelic Flying V guitar that was inspired by the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix, with this item available to buyers for $13,300.
