Fender to go global with the Richie Kotzen Telecaster
The Richie Kotzen Telecaster is set to go on sale across the world after only previously being available to purchase in Japan and Europe. The jazz guitarist himself broke the news on his Facebook page.
Kotzen, formerly of Poison, but now more prevalent as a solo artist, wrote on his profile: "Fender Guitars will be selling Richie Kotzen's signature model Telecaster GLOBALLY starting this January... The guitar was previously only available in Japan and Europe... Good news for those interested parties in North and South America!"
The Telecaster is one of the most iconic guitars that Fender produces, with everyone from Bruce Springsteen to Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner wielding one of these axes on stages across the globe.
Fans of Richie Kotzen will now be able to get hold of his signature guitar by January 2013 as he writes the follow-up to his 2011 record 24 Hours, adding to his stellar line-up of releases since he made the decision to go solo.
