First acts announced for Reading and Leeds Festival 2013
Deftones,Alt-J, Sub Focus and Boy Better Know will all be appearing at the festival due to take place atBramhamPark in Leeds and Richfield Avenue in Reading over the August bank holiday.
In a change from the traditional spring announce date, fans will be able to put down a£50deposit for tickets from Friday (November30th) at9amwith festival-goers able to get them at 2012 prices.
Deftonesare the first band to be named on the Main Stage, while Mercury Music Prize winnerAlt-Jwill be headlining theNME/Radio 1 Stage with Sub Focus and Boy Better Know topping the Radio 1 Dance Stage and BBC Radio1XtraStage respectively.
There is set to be a number of changes to next year's Reading and Leeds with organiser MelvinBennrevealing earlier in November that there will be "quite a bit more dance music, quite a bit more other bits and pieces" as well as additional stages to the three-day festival.
Other acts are due to be announced in the coming months.
