Fleet Foxes complete recording of new album
Acoustic guitar player Robin Pecknold has revealed that his band Fleet Foxes have finished recording their latest album.
The musician confirmed via the act's official Facebook page that he and the rest of the group will be travelling to New York this week in order to mix and master the record, which will be their second.
"We will have information about [the] release date and when you'll get to hear a song or two soon," explained the guitarist and vocalist.
Seattle act Fleet Foxes shot to prominence in 2008 with the launch of their self-titled full-length debut album, also releasing the EP record Sun Giant in the same year.
The band's music is influenced by a wide array of styles, including pop, choral, gospel, traditional and film scores.
Pecknold said the band's first album was intended to be an "honest reflection of who we are, citizens of the western United States who love all kinds of music".
