Focusrite Scarlett 2nd Gen

Better. Faster. Easier - these are the words which succinctly encapsulate Focusrite's newly-released Scarlett (second generation) range.

The revamped range, from the Scarlett 2i2 right through to the Scarlett 18i20, takes the qualities of its predecessors and takes it to the next level and breathe confidence into your performances.

Enhanced features include recording in 24 bit 192 kHz, low latency (down to just 2.74ms), analogue protection circuitry to stop power surges. A sleeker chassis and metal gain dials provide a more solid, robust feel.

Focusrite has even re-developed their instrument inputs with hotter pickups in mind. The new design ultimately helps with copious amounts of gain whilst retaining clarity - Thus removing the need to meticulously edit your recording tones or search endlessly for a sound that suits your sonic requirements.

The Scarlett 6i6, 18i8 and 18i20 all come with Focusrite Control, which is software akin to similar software on the Clarett range to offer professional results to your recordings.

Each new Scarlett, as well as the Solo, 2i4 models and Studio packs - 2i2 / solo, also come complete with Pro Tools First and Ableton Live software, as well as a plethora of plug-ins from; Focusrite's Red 2 and 3 to Sotube's Time and Tone pack.
