Foo Fighters booked for T in the Park 2011
Foo Fighters will be taking their electric guitars up to Scotland for a headline performance at next year's T in the Park festival.
The rockers are the first act to be confirmed for the annual bash, which is set to take place between July 8th and 10th 2011 in Balado.
Festival organiser Geoff Ellis expressed his delight at securing the booking and said Foo Fighters are one of the best bands on the planet, especially when it comes to playing events like T in the Park. Earlybird tickets for next year's show are set to go on sale this Friday (December 3rd).
It is one of a number of UK commitments that Foo Fighters have already organised for next summer. They are to headline the Isle of Wight Festival in June, as well as playing two mammoth gigs at the Milton Keynes Bowl in July, with both of those shows already sold out.
