Foo Fighters put on an amazing rock and roll performance at Milton Keyes
The Foo Fighters showed rock stars from around the world how to it well after giving a roaring performance to 130,000 fans at Milton Keyes on Saturday (July 2nd).
Not ones to keep things simple, the band wowed the crowd by introducing special guests that sent the crowd wild.
Queen legend Roger Taylor took over on drums for the song Cold Day in the Sun, Bob Mould of Husker Du delivered some very welcome additional vocals, and rock and roll great Alice Cooper popped on stage to belt out his timeless hits School's Out and Eighteen.
Dave Grohl told the crowd: "We wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for Bob."
The show was once again testament to how the band has grown massively over the last 17-years, which some people questioned given Nirvana's enduring legacy.
Grohl has transformed himself from a background drummer into one of the great front men of his generation.
The band played a set that was a rollercoaster ride through history, topped off with tracks from their latest studio album Wasting Light.
Also appearing at the show were Seasick Steve and John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin.
