Former Prodigy guitarist hails new album
Prodigy's former electric guitarist Jim Davies has commended the band's new album.
Davies spent a brief period with the rock band in the 1990s, playing on hits such as Breathe and Firestarter.
Although he no longer performs with the group, he revealed that he is still in touch with Liam Howlett and co.
Speaking to the Echo, Davies said he has also listened to their latest album Invaders Must Die, which he described as "incredible".
"I have nothing but praise for them," he commented.
"They have played such a massive part in my musical life."
However, he added that he has moved on since leaving the band and is extremely happy performing as a solo artist.
He recently released an album called Jim Davies Electronic Guitar and also occasionally visits colleges to share his insights on the music industry with students.
