Frank Turner announces new album details and UK tour
Acoustic guitar player Frank Turner has revealed his next record is to be called England Keep My Bones.
The star revealed the album will be released on June 6th in the UK, coming out one day later in the rest of the world.
Turner used his official blog to express his excitement about its arrival, as well as his touring plans around that time.
He is to begin in Britain in May, visiting venues up and down the country.
"It'll be solo shows, just me and my guitar. Supports are sorted but we'll not be announcing just yet," Turner explained.
His first show on the UK run will take place in Stockton on May 9th, with other performances planned in Dundee, Brighton, Nottingham, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent and Wolverhampton.
Turner will also visit Bristol, Bath, Cambridge, Norwich and Protsmouth before rounding off the British leg of his touring commitments with a homecoming show in Winchester on May 30th.
The musician will then head off to Germany, while further gigs in Australia, the US and Canada have been announced for the early part of 2011 as well.
He is also set to headline the third stage at this year's Download Festival.
