Funeral For A Friend want fan input
Funeral For A Friend are giving fans the opportunity to be involved in making their next EP.
The Welsh metal band have given fans the chance to buy a number of 'pledges' associated with the limited edition recording - which is being made without the input of any record company.
Pledges range from attending rehearsals, or mixing of the tracks with the band, appearing as one of the backing vocalists for a gang chant on the recordings or a free pass to as many of the shows that the holder wants to attend over the coming year.
In a statement, the 'Roses For The Dead' band said: "If you want to get involved and be part of helping us make this record, you're in the right place. We'll be recording, mixing and releasing it starting in June and you're invited.
"By Pledging you can ensure that you get a copy of the record as soon as it's out plus whatever else you choose to get involved in. If you only want the music that's cool. But if you want to get more involved, we can do that too.
"Remember, this will be a limited edition release, not available in the usual shops, and once it's gone, it's gone."
The group - made up of Kris Coombs-Roberts, Gavin Burrough, Ryan Richards, Matthew Davies-Kreye and Richard Boucher - will be donating 10 per cent of all money pledged to charities PETA, Teenage Cancer Trust and the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.
Other items fans can pledge on include a lesson with guitar player Kris and a for the band to come to the pledger's house and play an acoustic show.
