Gear4music Announces Rode and Pro Tools Competition Winners
Great Deals on Studio Equipment
Gear4music is proud to announce the winner of a Rode NT1-A Vocal Pack and the of Avid Pro Tools 9 Software, after thousands of entries. Graham Milligan from Essex won Avid Pro Tools 9 (with a free upgrade to Pro Tools 10), while Adam Chase of West Yorkshire won the Rode NT1-A Vocal Pack. Both winners were delighted to find out that they had won, with each being completely surprised. When asked what he was planning to do with the Avid Pro Tools 9, Graham said that, "the software will be going to my son Matt, who is indeed a second year Music Tech student at Kent Medway University." "ProTools is one of the software packages taught on the course, so it will be perfect for Matt to have his own copy for all the uses listed: composing, recording and mixing and editing!" Adam, the winner of the Rode NT1-A Vocal Pack, said he was going to be using his prize as a "vocal microphone for a mobile recording business I am currently in the process of setting up." He also planned on "using it for my band Five Minute Limit to record new demo songs." Both competitions ended yesterday (Monday 31st October), with each receiving an astonishing number of entries. The winners were selected at random, with each competition being entered by Facebook "Liking" a page on the Gear4music.com site, then emailing us with the correct subject line in place.
