Gear4music Now Stocking Hidersine
Hidersine's heritage can be traced back to the late 1800's, where Francis Hider developed an array of orchestral stringed instruments in his spare time before fully devoting himself to the ever expanding Hidersine company. With considerable development since, Hidersine endeavors to deliver consistent high quality instruments at a fraction of the price of many of other high end brands. Focusing primarily upon the design of bowed instruments, Hidersine have developed a strong and consistent following due to their specialist knowledge and manufacturing processes.
The Vivente Cello, Violin and Viola models are primarily orientated around the earlier stages of the learning experience and come with a centre mounted chin rest that enables the student to have a better idea of hand placement. Designed in collaboration with the European String Teachers Association (ESTA) the instruments have been specifically manufactured to help the eager student along with their practice.
For the more advanced player, instruments within the Hindersine Nobile accommodate a more experienced student progressing through their grades. The Nobile is a full size, 4/4 violin with a stunning hand carved figured maple finish and comes complete with traditional inlaid purfling and boxwood.
Although the price may be higher than other student string outfits, their impeccable standard and unprecedented playability of each and every one of the instruments make the difference in price worth your while. CNC manufactured violins ensure a consistent high standard in their build quality as opposed to hand carved violins which may be subject to human error and various inconsistencies that may make playing all the more difficult for the beginner.
The range all come fitted with synthetic core strings rather than the typical steel cored strings which are found on other student level string instruments. This enables the student to play in comfort without the painful aggravation of steel strings, whilst also adding a warmer and smoother edge to their tone.
