Gerard Way: I would love to work with David Bowie
Electric guitar band My Chemical Romance's lead singer Gerard Way has said David Bowie is the artist he would like to work with in the future.
"I think because he's a true artist, he's completely always done what he wanted, he's changed so much record-to-record and I completely look up to him," Way commented.
Describing Bowie as a "genius", Way observed he admires how Bowie does not let anything stop him from making his music.
My Chemical Romance recently released their fourth studio album, which was entitled Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys and proceeds the critically-acclaimed concept record The Black Parade.
The band have a number of gigs lined-up, with appearances at the NME Shockwaves Awards and the T in The Park festival already confirmed.
Way noted that the group often talk about what direction they should take their image in and he himself frequently sketches a number of different styles.
