Geri Halliwell: Spice Girl reunion on the cards
Ginger Spice told the Sunday Mirror that the former band members of the Spice Girls had been presented with a decent offer, which she described as being exciting.
They last got back together as a full five-piece group in 2007, delivering a spectacular reunion tour on the back of a greatest hits album. They also produced a candid documentary entitled Giving Your Everything.
Halliwell, who has been back in the public eye promoting her iconic Union Jack dress for Next - which has decided to recreate it for a new generation of fashionistas – went on to say that as a band it had to be a "collective decision".
Her comments come on the back of Mel B accidently suggesting that the super pop group had been discussing a reunion of sorts, to celebrate and take part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
"I am going to be in such strife for saying that. It's all so totally bloody top-secret still," she told the presenters of Sunrise.
So successful were the Spice Girls at the height of their fame that they drew comparisons with Beatlemania, which was a term used to describe the intense frenzy that the Fab Four would generate.
