Sam Duckworth, the man behind Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, is set to bring out a new record in September.

The acoustic guitar player told fans the planned release date for his next album via Twitter, stating that it is expected to be in shops by September 13th 2010.

He added that the release of the record is due to be accompanied by a "big, big tour" that will take place across August and September.

Duckworth said further details about the venues he will be playing will be made public "very, very soon".

Earlier this week, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly was one of the acts confirmed for the Leftfield Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

Other artists which have been confirmed for the stage include fellow acoustic guitar player Frank Turner, as well as Billy Bragg, Thea Gilmore, Reverend and the Makers and former Beautiful South frontman Paul Heaton.
