Gibson CEO loves the Firebird X
Henry Juszkiewicz, who started off life as an investment banker, told Alister & Paine, that the Firebird X, which was a brand new addition to Gibson catalogue, is an innovative musical instrument.
"It's a very controversial guitar because it's not traditional and it has a lot of electronic capability, which some traditionalists don't like. It's just a spectacular thing to play."
Matt Roberts from 3 Doors Down has described it as a "far superior" electric guitar as it mixes up technology with traditional tones.
Mr Juszkiewicz went on to tell the news provider about how as chief executive officer of Gibson he has had a few rock and roll nights with some of the biggest music stars in the world.
"Ace Frehley [from Kiss] brought me out to dinner with his wife and his girlfriend. That did not go well."
He also explained how MTV, which was starting to become a force at around the time he took over the helm at Gibson, was "terrific" for the company as they shared similar ideals.
