Gibson Guitar Tour Bus to appear at British Surf Championships
The Gibson Guitar Tour Bus is to have a prominent role at the forthcoming Quiksilver British Surf Championships.
Over the August bank holiday weekend (August 28th and 29th 2010), Fistral Beach, Newquay will host the competition, with entertainment coming from musicians aboard the tour bus.
Gibson Guitar and Quiksilver are now on the lookout for six bands to play at the event, with the group judged to give the best performance of the weekend winning £1,000 worth of Quiksilver products.
The tour bus will also act as a media hub for the championships, as well as offering a place to relax for all the surfers and Gibson's special guests.
For the winner of the British Men's Open competition, a Gibson Les Paul guitar will form part of their prize.
Other events which will feature as part of this year's championships include the British Masters Title and the Roxy Women's Open.
