London's 02 Arena will play host to a new photography exhibition featuring rare images of some of the world's most famous musicians who are renowned for their skills on the acoustic guitar and the electric guitar.

Gibson Through The Lens is an exhibition organised by Gibson, which has collaborated with some of the best music photographers out there, including Baron Wolman, Neal Preston, Mick Rock, Bob Gruen, Ross Halfin, David Redfern and the late Jim Marshall.

Some of the subjects of the photographer's lens include the who's who of the music industry, past and present.

Noel Gallagher, Sir Paul McCartney, BB King, Paul Weller, Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Page, Chuck Berry, Jack White, Frank Zappa and Lenny Kravitz are just a few musicians who have posed in front of the camera.

Henry Juszkiewicz, chairman and chief executive officer of Gibson Guitar, said: "Gibson Through the Lens offers music fans around the world the opportunity to witness an exhibition of iconic pictures that symbolise and represent the heart and soul of Gibson Guitar through the ages.

"These images are evidence of the deep rooted history, high regard and quality of Gibson guitars played by the world’s leading artists. I am proud to be staging this exhibition in London for guitar, photography and music fans around the world."

The exhibition runs from November 7th 2011until January 31st 2012.
