Gibson electric guitars praised by Chris Isaak
However, he stated that Gibsons are the ones that "hold up" the best and are particularly reliable in a live scenario.
Isaak noted that he regularly plays both lead and rhythm guitar on stage, so therefore requires an instrument that can capably handle each style of playing.
"I need a guitar that's pretty versatile," he commented.
The musician, who has been recording and releasing albums for 25 years, added that this is preferable to switching between different guitars during a gig.
"I want to be able to play lead four or five times a night and be able to quickly do it," he said.
Isaak is perhaps best known for his hit albums San Francisco Days, Forever Blue and Speak of the Devil and released a new LP earlier this yearPosted on 7 Aug 2009 11:08 to category : Instruments News
