Gibson praises BB King
According to the company, many of the music legend's songs have gone on to become blues standards, while the man himself has inspired generations of electric guitar players.
King was said to be playing "stinging licks" on his electric guitar, while singing lyrics that feel "uncomfortably current" in today's economic climate.
This 1971 rarity was praised for featuring some of King's most "languid" and "graceful" electric guitar playing.
Gibson added that at 84 years of age, King is still attracting new fans and playing over 100 shows every year.
This comes shortly after Gibson described the blues guitarist as "legendary" following his successful gig at Wembley Arena in London during the summer.Posted on 18 Sep 2009 15:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
