Gibson unveils new auto-tuner
The company unveiled theMin-Etune, which has been developed byTronical, that is fitted to theheadstockof the guitar and allows players to automatically tune the axe whenever they want and to whichever setting they require.
It represents the newest development in guitar-playing and helps to cut out those delays where musicians have to stop and painstakingly tune after every song whether playing live or in the studio.
Now with theMin-Etuneit is effortless to ensure that the guitar has the right tone and tuning as the device works with the instrument's machine heads to reach the built-inswitchablepresets.
It is not the first time Gibson has ventured into this area as it released the Gibson Robot Guitar in December 2007 which had the ability to tune itself and while it is not the first-ever axe to have this function it has been described as the most functional of its kind.
Peavey also recently launched its own self-tuning guitar with the unveiling of the AT-200 which was heralded as the company's biggest release to date.
