Glastonbury visitors to benefit from dedicated 4G network
The iconic festival has teamed up with service provider EE to give fans super fast mobile broadband for their stay at the event.
It will allow attendees to post pictures and videos much quicker than previously possible with the standard 3G network.
Organisers explained that there will be an official Glastonbury app which festival-goers can download. It will provide updates and new alerts about what's going on around the main site.
The worry of having a phone run out of battery has also been taken care of as two large recharge tents are due to be built onsite which will be open to users of any mobile network.
Spencer McHugh, brand director at EE, said: "We're uniquely placed to use our technological expertise to help make the Glastonbury experience even better for those on site; from producing the feature packed official app for the festival, providing hundreds of charging points on site in our recharge tents."
This year's Glastonbury will be headlined by The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Mumford and Sons, along with a host of top names appearing over the weekend.
