Graham Coxon reveals Blur meet-up plans
Electric guitar player Graham Coxon has revealed Blur have met up with the possibility of recording some music together.
He revealed the news yesterday (February 3rd) via his page on social networking site Twitter, reports NME.
Coxon said the band were planning to have a coffee together and "maybe switch a tape recorder on".
When pressed further for more details, the electric guitar player explained: "We are having a meet-up, might get a guitar out."
Last year, Blur frontman Damon Albarn said the group had agreed they would work together again in early 2011 but added there were no firm plans on the table at that stage.
They last released a new single in April 2010, putting out Fool's Gold as a limited edition vinyl recording in support of Record Store Day.
Blur reunited for a series of triumphant live dates in the summer of 2009, playing a number of gigs including a headline set at Glastonbury Festival.
They also took part in two huge shows in London's Hyde Park, performing in front of more than 100,000 people.
Recordings of the shows were taken and released as a special live album by the Britpop stars.Posted on 5 Feb 2011 09:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
