'Greatest guitar riffs' to be showcased at Lims
The International Guitar Foundation (IGF) is to run an iconic riffs seminar on June 13th at the London International Music Show (Lims).
Taking place in the ExCel's Seminar room from 13:00 BST, the showcase will see the IGF's head of faculty demonstrate legendary licks from Eric Clapton, Ritchie Blackmore, Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page, among others.
The Lims blog also confirmed this week that top session guitarist Hawi Gondwe, a current member of the Amy Winehouse Band, will be in the Seminar room at the same time on June 14th.
In a conversation with the IGF's Phil Castang, Gondwe will discuss his career and give advice about how to make it in his profession, from passing auditions to getting paid.Posted on 21 May 2009 17:00 to category : Music News
