Green Day announce support acts for huge London show
The punk-rock trio will be joined by Kaiser Chiefs and All Time Low at the Emirates Stadium on June 1st 2013. It is the first time the band have played a UK headline show since their Wembley Stadium concert in June 2010.
Green Day are currently in the middle of a triple album release, with the first, ¡Uno!, being launched on September 24th. The band plan to unleash ¡Dos! on November 12th while ¡Tré! will come out on January 14th 2013.
The group have been forced to postpone a number of performances recently after lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab for substance abuse following an on-stage meltdown at an iHeart Radio event in Las Vegas.
All Time Low released their fifth studio album Don't Panic in early October, and have recently completed a 'three countries in three days' tour, performing in Tokyo, London and New York in the space of 72 hours.
Leeds-based Kaiser Chiefs launched a greatest hits album in June 2012 and performed at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.
