Guitar player heads for talent show final
An acoustic guitar player has won a role in the final of the Sky 1 talent show Must be the Music.
Emma Gillespie is to take to the stage of Wembley Stadium to perform for her chance to win the contest that offers a prize of Ã‚Â£100,000 to the winner.
The 27-year-old acoustic guitar player from Glasgow, who goes by the stage name Emma Imagination, earned her place after a public vote following the performance of her track This Day.
It received a great response from judge and former Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri, who called it a "hit record".
Her popularity has also seen the song go into the top five of the iTunes download chart as each of the tracks are available to download immediately after the Sunday night show.
However, fellow finalists Pepper & Piano have already managed to grab a place in the UK singles chart with their song You Took My Heart.
It entered at number seven on Sunday September 5th 2010.
