Guitar signed by The Killers goes up for charity auction

The Gibson Les Paul is worth over £1,600.
Great deals on musical instruments
A collector's item for music fanatics is set to go up for sale as a Gibson Les Paul signed by The Killers front man Brandon Flowers will be put under the hammer.

The guitar is valued at around £1,600 and all the proceeds will go to WaterAid, the official charity of the Q Awards, and will be listed on eBay alongside other items from the world of music from artists such as Emelie Sande, The Cribs and Dionne Warwick.

Bidders have the chance to enter the auction from December 6th to 16th and will be able to get their hands on unique music memorabilia to take pride of place in their homes.

The Killers recently had to cut a show at Manchester Arena short after Flowers complained about problems with his voice and left the stage after just four songs and subsequently cancelled their appearance the following night.

However, the band were quick to apologise to fans that purchased tickets and have rescheduled the shows for February 2013.

The Killers have also announced a huge show at Wembley Stadium set to take place in June next year.
