Guitarist Mick Taylor 'not planning to sue Rolling Stones'
Taylor took over from Brian Jones in the long-running group in 1969, appearing on records such as Exile On Main Street, Sticky Fingers and It's Only Rock 'n' Roll.
This week, the Daily Mail suggested that he is planning to sue his former bandmates to obtain unpaid royalties.
However, Taylor's manager Jeff Allen has insisted that this is not the case and said he still has a good relationship with the group.
"There's absolutely no animosity between Mick and the Stones," he told NME.
"The last time we met up with them, him and Keith were hugging and happy to see each other."
Allen also revealed that when Taylor was ill several months ago, Mick Jagger rang his hospital to check on his condition.
As well as The Rolling Stones, Taylor has also performed and recorded with artists such as Bob Dylan, Jack Bruce and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.Posted on 16 Sep 2009 14:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
