Guitarists encouraged to try different effects pedal set-ups
Electric guitar players have been encouraged to experiment with different set-ups when using effects pedals on stage.
However, he said complications can arise if guitarists do not set up the stereo pedal last in an effects chain.
In addition, Mr Hunter stated that other problems can be created if a player wants to use two stereo pedals to create a more complex stereo delay.
He advised guitarists to consider what aspect of their sound is most important to them if they want to use a long effects chain and to devise a set-up accordingly.
"Try all the alternatives, and go with whatever feels like the least obtrusive compromise," Mr Hunter added.Posted on 4 Jun 2009 12:00 to category : Instruments News
