Buddy Holly's 'Rave On' is the song of choice
An attempt to set a new UK record for the largest number of guitarists playing a song simultaneously will use the Buddy Holly a song.

Head to the beach front at Lyme Regis at 5pm on 7th September with your guitar in hand to take part in what will hopefully be Britain's biggest band.

Over 2000 guitarists have already signed up for the event, and will all play Buddy Holly's 'Rave On', fitting as 7th September would be Buddy Holly's birthday.

Leading the band will be West End star Billy Geraghty, the first British actor to play Buddy Holly in the hit musical 'Buddy'.

The event will be sponsored by Fender, who have supplied raffle prizes.
