Guns N' Roses star offers guitar lessons on Skype
Musicians learning the electric guitar are being offered the chance to participate in lessons with Guns N' Roses star Ron Thal.
The guitarist is offering to conduct one-to-one lessons over Skype with players of any age and ability.
"Lessons are about what you need, what you want, it's different for everyone," he said.
Thal explained that people interested in receiving the tuition need to email him with details about how long they have been performing on the electric guitar, what type of music they like and whether they are in a band or just play alone.
He also requested information on what improvements they want to make, along with where their strengths lie when playing the instrument.
The Guns N' Roses star said he would randomly select who will receive the lessons from those who email in.
Thal and the rest of the band have been confirmed as one of the headline acts for this year's Rock in Rio festival in Brazil.
Guns N' Roses will take to the stage on October 2nd, as part of a bill that also includes musical heavyweights from a number of different genres, such as Elton John, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay.
