High Barn to host East Anglia Guitar Festival
It marks the fourth event of its kind in the region, and 2013's edition will be headlined by Scottish singer and musician Ewan McLennan, who will be wowing audiences that come to enjoy the variety of talent on display, Herts and Essex Observer reports.
Andy Kirkham will also be taking to the stage following his workshop at last year's festival, and he will be performing intricate guitar compositions which bring together influences for Africa and Eastern Europe.
Ken Powell is holding a class in which he explains the process of how a guitar is made which is sure to be interesting for any budding musicians.
The entire day out is ideal for families and will take place on May 5th from 10:30am to 10:30pm, with tickets starting from £12 in advance or £14 on the door with one child under the age 12 being admitted for free when with an adult.
It is one of a host of guitar festivals taking place across the coming weeks with events planned in the likes of Haydock and Bradford.
