Hulk Hogan: I might have been in Metallica
Speaking to the Sun, Hulk Hogan explained that in the early days of the band he was good friends with Lars Ulrich, the band's drummer.
Ulrich had asked Hogan, who is well-known for his trademark handle-bar moustache and bandana, if he would like to play bass guitar.
However, for one reason or another, it didn't work out.
"Jerry Hall also asked Mick Jagger if I could play bass with the Rolling Stones," he also revealed to the newspaper.
"Mick never got back to me."
The legendary wrestler, who calls his fans Hulkamaniacs, added that he wanted a word with the British rock band Kasabian because they have been using his name – as well as other wrestlers – when they check into hotel rooms.
"I heard about these guys. They have made a show about UK wrestling in the Eighties, called Walk Like A Panther," he said.
"I know Rollerball Rocco, he's in it. He's my guy. I'll be his tag partner and sort them out for trashing hotel rooms under my name."
The star recently appeared on daytime TV show Loose Women where he revealed he has undergone a significant amount of surgery from during his long career in wrestling.
