Instrument theft devastates Noah and the Whale
Electric guitar players and drummers have received a graphic reminder to keep gear secure when on the road, as a band have just had all their instruments stolen.
Indie-folk group Noah and The Whale had their van parked up in Manchester when the theft took place.
The band's drum kit was also taken from their locked-up trailer, although the musicians have said they will use borrowed instruments to complete their current tour.
Guitarist Charlie Fink described the theft as "devastating" and stated that it would be difficult to replace some of the missing items.
"Even if there was a duplicate it wouldn't ever sound the same," he commented.
"It's hard to explain the relationship you have with a guitar."
