Iron Maiden 'breezed through recording of new album'
Iron Maiden's electric guitar player Dave Murray has revealed it only took the group six weeks to record new album The Final Frontier.
Speaking to Billboard about the making of the rock band's 15th record, Murray stated that Iron Maiden had "breezed through" the studio process.
"We were getting down a track a day - all playing together as a band, Bruce [Dickinson] singing, all in the same room, so there's a very live-in-the-studio feel to it," the guitar player explained.
He added that fans of the band who are going to see them play live this summer can expect a mixture of old and new material.
Iron Maiden are currently on tour in the US but will be starting a series of dates in Europe from the end of the month.
Their planned shows include appearances at the O2 Arena in Dublin on July 30th 2010 and at the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth on August 1st.
