Iron Maiden guitarist 'thrilled' with signature instrument
Iron Maiden's Adrian Smith has revealed he is very happy with his new signature electric guitar from Jackson.
"When Jackson sent me a prototype of my signature guitar, I liked it right away," he remarked. "So much so, it became my number one choice onstage for the Somewhere Back in Time tour."
Smith's signature guitar is based on his original Custom Shop instrument from the late 1980s.
Two versions of it have been made, with the models launched officially in January 2009.
Jackson has released numerous signature instruments over the years, including the Jackson Randy Rhoads and one of Dave Mustaine's favourites, the Jackson Kelly - named after Heaven's lead guitarist Brad Kelly.Posted on 9 Mar 2009 11:44 to category : Instruments News
