Musical instrument manufacturer JHS have recently received a prestigious award for their SpongeBob Squarepants equipment.

The company received the award at the Licensing Source Book awards ceremony held on September 10th, and was especially praised for how its creative imagination helped to encourage young people to take up learning musical instruments.

Examples of the SpongeBob Squarepants instruments include acoustic guitars, electric guitars and even a 3-piece junior drum kit.

The instruments have incredibly colourful designs and include some features especially included for that extra 'fun' factor for young musicians who get their hands on them.

The SpongeBob Squarepants ¾ electric guitar for example comes with its very own built in speaker powered by a 9V battery, allowing any child to play the guitar with the feeling and volume of having their very own amplifier everywhere they go.
