JLS' mature songwriting
JLS think they have become more mature songwriters.
The 'She Makes Me Wanna' group - who shot to fame after coming second on UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' in 2008 - believe their lyrics have grown more personal as they have grown more comfortable using their own experiences in their songs.
Marvin Humes said: "We've matured with content and songwriting. We've tackled things on this
new album that we wouldn't have been able to discuss on the first. We've gone through different stuff in our personal lives over the past year.
"We've been able to experiment and put it down on paper and turn it into songs."
The group have been working on their second album and admit it has been difficult narrowing down their song choices to fit on the record.

Explaining how they make song choices, his bandmate Aston Merrygold told Britain's Star magazine: "Some songs might be great but not 'us', plus, we all have our personal favourites."
JB Gill added: "You have to negotiate, but we've all put in so much effort that whichever songs make it will be great."Posted on 20 Jul 2011 06:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
