Jack White turns producer for wife's album
Electric guitar star Jack White has got behind the mixing desk for his latest musical role as producer for his wife Karen Elson.
The new record by Elson is set to be released this summer and a taster track, The Ghost That Walks, has already been made available to fans via her website.
White and Elson worked together on the record, which was recorded in Nashville at the studios of Third Man Records, White's own record label, reports NME.
The record will be the first full-length album ever released by Elson.
Earlier this month, electric guitar player White told Triple J that he has been very impressed with the levels of collaboration being shown in his latest group, The Dead Weather.
The band, which features The Kills singer Alison Mosshart, bass guitar player Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs and Dean Fertita from Queens of the Stone Age, are already putting the finishing touches to their second record after the first was released in July 2009.Posted on 25 Feb 2010 18:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
