Jam bassist 'has a very recognisable sound and style'
Paul Weller has praised the musical abilities of former Jam bass guitar player Bruce Foxton.
The pair recently reunited to play together on a couple of songs on Weller's new album, while Foxton also took to the stage with the solo star at the Royal Albert Hall.
"He has a very recognisable sound and style, and he was definitely the right man for those tracks," the star explained.
Despite the reunion, Weller stated that he has absolutely no plans to reform The Jam.
Earlier this month, the star told NME that he has already finished eight or nine tracks for his next album.
Noel Gallagher has done some drumming in the studio for Weller, but it has not yet been decided whether his contributions will make it on to the final version of the album.
