James Blunt finds recording 'mind-blowing'
Singer-songwriter James Blunt has spoken about his love of making music.
Talking to the Herald, the musician explained he loves having the opportunity to realise the ambitions he had when he first started playing the electric guitar at the age of 14.
He said he finds it very special to go into a studio with his friends and create something out of nothing, a process he describes as "mind-blowing".
"At the beginning of the day we have nothing and at the end of the day we have something that might have a connection with millions of people," Blunt stated.
The guitar player added that he appreciates having the opportunity to perform in front of people of all nationalities and languages, helping crowds to share similar emotions through his songs.
Blunt is set to tour the UK early next year, playing gigs in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, London and Portsmouth during February and March 2011.
