Jeff Beck 'obsessive about electric guitar playing'
Jeff Beck has revealed that he can get somewhat obsessive about playing the electric guitar.
He admitted that he is no exception, as he can involuntarily get carried away with different aspects of playing, the Canadian Press reports.
"You become obsessed about sounds and positioning and notation and chords," Beck commented.
"We just get drawn into it."
Beck added that he finds it difficult to say where his present style of playing comes from, although he cited acts such as Jimi Hendrix and Ravi Shankar as musical influences.
This comes shortly after Beck told The Word magazine that he has no regrets about turning down the chance to join The Rolling Stones.
He was asked to become the band's electric guitar player after Mick Taylor left in 1974.Posted on 7 Jul 2009 11:56 to category : Band / Celebrity News
