Jessie J and Adele 'used to jam' with acoustic guitar
An acoustic guitar and pop sessions featuring Jessie J and Adele were a common sight at lunchtimes when the pair studied together at the Brit School, it has been revealed.
The pair were firm pals during their time at the prestigious music and acting academy, despite the fact they were studying different courses, the Press Association reports.
Jessie said: "She was in music and I was in musical theatre. We used to jam at lunch time and someone would play guitar and we both would just sing."
She added that she is extremely proud of the achievements of both herself and her fellow artist, noting that neither of them could have ever guessed they would have albums out at the same time and be vying for position in the charts against each other.
Meanwhile, NME reports indie rock band The Kooks are asking their fans to get in touch in order to help them set up their upcoming UK tour dates.
An online suggestion page has been established whereby fans can put in their choices for venues, with the band set to take on board many of the suggestions before finalising their tour dates next month.
