Joe Bonamassa: Using different Gibson guitars is part of my live act
Bonamassa, who has been named Best Blues Guitarist by Guitar Player magazine for the past three years in a row, told the Gibson website that he has taken plenty of instruments out on his current tour.
"It's part of the spectacle to go through eight or nine guitars," he said.
"People like to see that and I like to give the people what they want."
Bonamassa has just released his tenth studio album, Black Rock, which contains covers of songs from the likes of Leonard Cohen and Jeff Beck.
Another musician to recently praise Gibson instruments is former Kiss star Ace Frehley.
