Joe Perry looking forward to next Aerosmith album
Electric guitar player Joe Perry has said that Aerosmith are looking forward to getting back into the studio and recording a new album.
The band have not released a record since 2001 and Perry told Rolling Stone that they will have to find time in their busy touring schedule before new songs can be sorted out.
He said that Aerosmith could be looking to get into the studio towards the end of this year or at the start of 2011.
"We'll have to take time off from touring to make the best record we can make," the electric guitar player said. "We owe it to ourselves to make the best record we can make."
Aerosmith are set to play live in the UK later this month, with a headline appearance at the Download Festival on June 13th being followed up with a show at the O2 Arena in London two days later.
