John Inverdale hoping to learn guitar
Television presenter John Inverdale has revealed he is keen to learn how to play the guitar properly.
Speaking to the Scottish edition of the Big Issue, Inverdale who hosts rugby and tennis coverage for the BBC - said that one of the biggest regrets in his life so far is not being able to play any kind of musical instrument.
He added that he owns a guitar and is attempting to learn the basics at the moment.
Inverdale revealed that he is hoping to get some pointers from a "tennis rock band" that gets together during the Wimbledon tournament and is made up of former players including Pat Cash and John McEnroe.
Earlier this month, musician Richard Thompson told the Daily Telegraph that he believes the enduring popularity of the guitar is down to the fact it is easy for people to pick up and play.Posted on 28 Jun 2010 18:00 to category : Instruments News
